How long has LeBron been the best player in the NBA? I still argue that he was the best since his second season, but I can hear cases for Kobe or Duncan as well. Shaq was already starting to break down a in 2003-2004...so I think LeBron has the edge over him even so early on in his career.

The KANG is still averaging 25 points, 7 rebounds and 9 assists in his FOURTEENTH season in the NBA. 51% FG, 37% from 3 :wow:

Zero doubt after this:

Now? I'd say that happened back in June breh. :usure:

But to answer your question, strangely enough I'd say when he joined the heats. The talent around him plus the high stakes situation he put himself in by leaving for Miami/championship expectations helped to make his game grow more. He was already a special player before, but that heats run helped him blossom. In hindsight, it was a great decision on his part. :ld:

I was waiting for LeBron to confirm this season as still being the best.

He has clearly been the best player in the league since his second season.

Only casuals will say otherwise.

As an individual player NO ONE has been better than LeBron since 2004, which was LeBrons second season.

since 2008-2009 season it's been undeniable
The year where Kobe averaged over 30 in the ayoffs for the second year in a row and 31 and 7 in the finals? Nah. It was still very much arguable. I'd say 2009-10 is when you had to favor him because it wasn't like Kobe played much better against Boston. 2010 onward it was his but KD mad you pause for a second his MVP year.

2008-2009 is when the modern lebron was born and he was flat better than kobe that year

Lebron ain't been the best player in the league since like 2013. He is however the face of the league and the most accomplished at this moment.

Kevin Durant is the best player in the league today he just doesn't know it yet. Once he gets that ring he'll reach his perfect form.

Golden State in 5
