It's not one of us his best, but it's very good. I skip more songs on this than any Kendrick album.

Kendrick doesn't have a bad album, but his truly great ones are GKMC and TPAB with TPAB being his magnum opus thus far. I really like MM too. Damn was cool.

GNX feels like a victory lap album celebrating the elimination his of nemesis. There's no space here where Kendrick is at his best IMO: certainly not lyrically, production wise, diversity of themes, etc.

But he's an all time talent, so even his average is better than most people's best efforts.

My favorite album of last year was definitely Samurai.

I’ll tell you this… I’ve definitely played it more than Views, More Life, or If You’re Reading This… and those are the only Drake albums I could stomach.

That's funny because I can't listen to anything after Nothing Was The Same.

I used to be a huge fan of both but Drake's music just didn't grow and it seems his old stuff just doesn't stand the test of times.

As good as I thought Take Care was at the time, I don't think it aged well.

But yeah, everything after Nothing Was The Same has only gotten one listen outta me.

Drake is a singles-artist to me. A hit factory with a lot of bops you can make a good playlist with.

I don’t think I’ve ever listened to any of his albums in full more than once tho

GNX was okay I guess. I really only go back and listen to Squabble Up and Peekaboo
