Now these CACs are mad about blacks trying to delineate on the census. Scared of what it may lead to.

Serious question on some "Explain Like I'm 5" tip:

Since countries like Portugal, England, and Spain were involved in the first slave ships that landed in the USA, should ADOS be trying to seek reparations from those countries as well? Obviously, it wouldn't be as easy since they are completely different countries, but what is your opinion?

Stop derailing this shyt...:stopitslime: asking remedial ass questions for which you know the answer starting shyt.:camby:

I'm all for everyone getting a happy resolution, and I'm glad the Indigenous are getting theirs as they should and I don't want to take away from the moment, but Africans people were also affected by that doctrine. If a reparations package comes for the Africans enslaved in the Americas, some should come from the Vatican. I hope the Indigenous peoples get theirs too.

Used to read about all those papal bulls and how it opened up the door for colonization, if the Indigenous can do it so can we. This is an inspiring story.

Pope John Paul II today apologized to black Africa for the involvement of white Christians in the slave trade.

The Pope's remarks came in an address to Cameroon intellectuals on their tasks in society and on the importance of integrating the Christian message with African culture.

John Paul said the task of Christians involved ''healing and compassion'' because ''the man who is in need, on the side of the road, is their brother, their neighbor.''

He continued, ''In the course of history, men belonging to Christian nations did not always do this, and we ask pardon from our African brothers who suffered so much because of the trade in blacks.''

Side note but only 388,000 came to America from Africa so logically wouldn't that mean we were already here?
Doesn’t this undermine the argument for reparations? Not only is that false, btw, but if that becomes the dominate narrative, whats stopping the government from telling ADOS to get reparations from the Native tribes then.

Spain and Portugal didn't have a massive presence here in the part of North America that would become the USA. Spain had Southern Florida, but from my recollection that was about it. America kicked England and France out and it is the American imposed system of slavery after the betrayal of England that made America super rich.

Undermine? Not at all you had millions in America when slavery ended so they still need their bread 300,000 or not and why would they say get it from the native tribes when their slave owners was far less in abundance that white slave owners?

They always forget that 250,000 Blacks fought in the Civil War too.

That little tidbit just seems to go over their head.....

It's funny we literally have a movie on the civil war with a black platoon full of former slaves and they never mention it...:dead: they act like they was the only ones there...
