I've never understood this. World history is full of land taken by conquest. Why should they get their land back? Or should every nation return land back to it's native peoples?

To the point. When did we decide that conquest was illegitimate, and the conquered was owed something? I'd guess around WWII, but I don't know...It used to be that people who lost the war paid the winner.

You probably just made the best case against reparations. By your logic, it's concession after concession almost without end. The West in general and the U.S. specifically has taken from a lot of people. And we're still not done.
