I use to bump his tapes to death................ "Ron G. in the cassette deck rocking the shyt g" - NAS

I actually got PUZZY back in the early 90's off his tapes..the r&b blends were sooo smooth............definitely an influence on Puff Daddy and a lot of the uptown sound/bad boy sound

maaaaaaan.. i swear.. a huge portion of my mixtapes, were Ron G. back in the day.. :ohlawd:

fukked around and lost a bunch of music, and media in general moving back from Cali.. :martin:

man.. all them folks who actually did blends back in the day, used to kill it.. you could hear folks just go off one take.. hell.. even the mistakes, sounded dope.. :damn:

let me know if you want this.. got pt. 1 & 2.. i see they got alot of his mixes on YT, so i know what ill be doing today.. :lolbron:

yeah some fukk boy in Georgia broke into my car and stole my music took my JVC pullout stereo, my amp and my 6x9 speakers...

I was stressing that...but when he TOOK MY RON G. mixes 7 tape................I put a cash bounty out for anybody that could retrieve that tape!!! :win:

we didn't have youtube back then and I knew it would be awhile before I get back to NYC to get another crisp copy like that

I had the PLUG on mixtapes...this Russian kid in downtown bk at the albee square mall had the master copies..and I would pay 10 dollars for it

That's the shyt that even got respect from my Pops who hated anything hip hop related back then.......

when RON G. blended that ANITA BAKER "ANGEL" over that breakbeat...........my pops was like :mindblown:

and I was like :obama: yeah no one can deny his talent..................

yup!!!...downtown bk.......they had a gold fronts and chain shop and also an airbrush t shirt store..and a sick azz sneaker spot there...
