I remember when 2k first started as Visual Concepts

And its completely fallen off the charts and has no major releases other than zelda left on top of nintendo moving onto their next console either 2016 or 2017.
Theres a chance it doesnt make 15 million.

I think the Wii generation was a fluke. Bunch of non gamers copping because it was the hottest thing out. The 360 was the casual generation too what with lots of people buying Xbox 360's for the Modern Warfare/Halo 3 era. I'd say a good chunk of those people probably haven't upgraded to a next gen console yet or probably won't

hasnt been a single game in a long time thats hooked me and like you, I went back and played a game that did have me hooked (Rust, which came out end of 2013/early 2014) and sure enough, shyt had me hooked for a few weeks, so I know its not my will to not play games as im getting older, but its just games are garbage right now
edit: hopefully Overwatch is as good as everyone whose played it says it is
PC gaming been trash this year as well at least to me.. everything so casual friendly. Farm this, kill 10 of these, collect 3 of these..Nothing original anymore. Diablo 3 biggest let down of my life in video gaming, ironically its the best selling Diablo so I know they just gonna continue that shyt like that

arent they already moving on to their next console development already ? pretty sure they are abandoning Wii U soon, no way they get to 25 mil

Yeah it was a "fad" but it was brilliantly pulled off by nintendo. They brought families together,from seniors to children to play their console and thats the market nintendo has always wanted. Its just hard to recreate that.
Keeping in mind the ps3/360/wii gen sold less than the previous gen as well.
Console gaming peaked,in creativity and sales with the ps2 gen.
Idk if Nintendo would be able to pull that off. Lightning in a bottle imo. The whole motion controller with simple sports thing which appealed to pretty much everyone is hard to recreate. What could Nintendo do again that would get everyone to cop them shyts again? That was one of the brilliant Nintendo moments in history but..... that was it.
Most likely they cant. It was lightning in a bottle like you said.
Who knows what they have up their sleeve. Nintendos the one company that just does whatever they want and are impossible to predict.

Wasn't y'all Africans talking about how PS4 stans don't buy their exclusives or w/e and here we don't see Forza 6 nary a mention....
Don't even say anything about it being exclusive... Mario Maker sold more and that's on a dead console.
they NEED to have internet on their next console.
they have the hits for the kids.. Mario, Mario Kart, Zelda.. they need to ride that wave with online and maybe even pull a PC model and add micro transactions to these games that parents can buy for their kids ($2.99 Mario outfit is blue and red instead of red and blue, Yoshi is blue instead of green, etc.)
DOTA makes hundreds of millions a year literally selling skins for $1-5 a piece..
