Yup. Which is why they threw Philip Castille under the bus.
They lobby to elect politicians and get bills passed. And as big as they were they most likely have a decent amount of employees which means they do have buildings with lights, rent, etc. This is their headquarters which likely isn't cheap to maintain:Aren't they just a club, what overhead did they have maintain at a loss to keep functioning that caused them go into the red?
They don't even sell anything, they just get paid membership dues, even if dues stopped coming in. you have zero products, zero inventory
no big NRA stores scattered around the nation. to pay rent, or light bills on. how did they go into debt? where they donating money they didn't have to trump?
