My boy is a corrections officers on Rikers and he told me the majority of the kids being held there 16+ years old are there on murder charges

Bro I mentored young boys locked up in the juvie in the Bronx. It’s crazier, even most of the 13-15 year old locked up there were fighting murders as well. And a good handful of them don’t even fukking recall when they caught the body. Why? Because the were so high out their fukking minds on pills and shyt! The amount of the times they told me they don’t recall shyt because they were high made me realize these young nikkas on a diff type of time nowadays.

On a side note, towards the end I was mentoring the 16-18 year old Adolescent Offenders (aka AOs, those charged with serious felonies like murder) and even the toughest of them were shook to hit Rikers. Cause when you turn 18 they suppose to ship you out to the island. But these new “Raise The Age” laws be allowing them to stay longer even go to a post-juvie juvie instead of the island. I only knew 1 Bronx cat nikka was Mak Balla and ran his pod. the day he turned 18 he snuffed a Corrections officer (since they were still running the building security wise) because he wanted to hit the Island. Seen the nikka IG the other day nikka look like he chillin nikka had a pic of him in his cell rocking Burberry kicks and Cartier glasses lmao.
