Breh, in the music industry, numbers always lie.

First off, pretty sure his own label bought copies.
Secondly, they count streams
Third, apparently they count Hotline Bling singles sales or w/e

There is so much bullshyt in the music industry, I'm not gonna believe he "sold" a million in a week no matter what the industry says.

...he didn't sell that...this attempted "commercial" takeover of hip hop has failed...he'd be better of regrouping and coming correct....I mean, they can lie, but time and public opinion will have its say. I haven't heard the album, but if it's a dud...it won't be spoken of. Haven't heard much about it yet

Hotline Bling sales are being included in his album sales. Unless those are just the physical numbers. But Drake's a pop star as much as a rapper at this point. None of this is surprising.

This is actually something I want more information on. Who are the ones really buying Drake music?

I always see Indians and Cacs talk about him in a positive manner the most.

The entire nation of Canada goes out to buy that album...at least majority of Toronto ...Drake is certified pop at this point...a more soulful em. Indians cacs Arabs all look to drake for a "clean safe" entrance into a "bit" of "rap", then the young who dig him plus the older AA's still trying to stay cool(42-56)..they'll probably talk about his album sales on cnbc or some shyt Monday....it's pop...disguised as rap...but to his credit he is singing more to transition away a bit to satisfy his fanbase....they don't want to hear all rap all the time....it is what it is.
