It doesn't work in this case because the album is shytty and he has a team behind him.

This is like not knowing who made your food, having it taste shytty, and then pretending like its good.

The quality of any nearly anything (particularly music) is debatable and about preference. Personally I enjoy the album. That guy doesn't and apparently you don't; that's cool. My analogy was more global then specific to Views; if your reasoning for disliking anything is based on any factor other than you just don't like how it sounds/looks/tastes/feels etc, then you are foolish IMO...that's all I'm saying :manny:

Selling a bunch of records on a bad album that stans still :blessed: at the numbers is like the universal sign that the fall off is coming.

See 50 with Massacre.
Wayne with Carter IV

Both did a mill.

Music didn't hit.

Hits were forced.

And it cost them.

Stans ruin artists.

Cosigning everything until the music gets worse and worse.

Album was trash

So you care about what cooks are involved and how the food is made more so then how it tastes then? No wonder you're always so angry; you sit at home eating plain oatmeal all day :scust:

The analogy you're using is off because Drake and his own camp perpetuated the myth that he wrote all his own shyt.

Here's his producer in 2012:

Remember When Noah "40" Shebib Said, "In Hip-Hop, You Must Write Your Own Raps"?

"In hip-hop," 40 explained, "you must write your own raps. If someone else were to write them for you, you'd have no credibility whatsoever, and you'd be out of the window immediately."

It would be like if you enjoyed eating at a restaurant, the chef and wait staff bragged about how the food was homemade, and come to find out it's basically doctored up TV dinners. If you think people wouldn't have a problem with that solely because they enjoyed the food, you're insane. And more than a little disingenuous. Which is par for the course for Drake fans, really.

We're back on these shenanigans? Drake writes MOST of his raps. Even on the reference tracks you can see there was some things taken and some things not. He probably has ghost writers who pitch in on a lot of his tracks, and we can pretend like most rappers don't do the same thing if it makes you feel better.

Either way, your analogy doesn't make sense. Ultimately, its Drake rapping and singing on his tracks regardless of who wrote what. A better comparison for yours would be in a chef with a bunch of sious chefs prepared most of the parts of a meal, but the head chef put it all together, added a few touches and arranged it on the plate and then presented it to you for consumption. At the end of the day, if the food is good I'm happy :manny:

This is silly.

By your logic, the "cooks" are the Ghostwriters. They came up with the recipes and got their apprentice chefs on the stoves making it for them.

Drake is the apprentice chef.

At the end of the day, they're just vessels for the cooks vision/recipe.

Only problem is that in OvO's case the vessel is getting all the credit/publicity/accollades

I'm just gonna focus on this part because you reached the bullshyt thresh hold early in your post.

1. You can't prove he writes most of his raps. So knock it off.

It doesn't even matter if he writes most. His own producer said if you don't write your own shyt you're a fraud. So get mad at him for holding Drake to a standard he can't possibly reach.

2. You can't prove most rappers do what Drake does, either.

This is why nobody likes Drake fans, summed up in one post. You guys are so full of shyt it's insane.

And you can't prove that he DOESN'T write most of his raps, or that most rappers DON'T also use ghostwriters. So knock it off and STFU, 99.9% of the arguments on this website are arbitrary discussions with no receipts on either end :francis:

Keep stating your opinions like its facts though bruh :patrice:

Feature request: being able to put Mods on ignore too :jbhmm:

I can prove that on 66% of all the tracks on TC and NWTS, probably all of the rap ones, Hush is listed as a Ghostwriter.

We can see that QM is listed as a Ghostwriter on several tracks on IYTTITL and not listed on features such as RICO.

I can prove that Abel gave his wave and sound to Drake for the most defining songs off his best album.

I can prove that Drake has ripped verses from Nikelus F, songs from the Sweeterman kid. Concepts from DRAM, etc.

He's closer to not writing most of his raps than he is to writing.

:mjlol:

Ignore facts, brehs.

Look up Drake's writing credits for TC and NWTS and you'll see Hush's name all over both.

We all know the QM saga details.

There's several threads on how Abel gave Drake half his album for TC

Nikelus F has already said he wrote shyt for Drake, Sweeterman is a documented rip as is Hotline Bling.

If you won't concede these proven points than there's no point in conversing with you. :yeshrug:
