Exactly. With the push for 4k content, folks going to be getting throttled in no time. I feel for anyone who lives in an area serviced by Comcast. They really need to allow a free market when it comes to ISPs.

Man I been using phone tethering foreverrrrrr. Pretty much free, unlimited internet thru Sprint. shyt be faster than my Wifi anyways.

Your usage don’t compare to what other people are doing. I’m all teched out over here. Plex Servers always uploading, cameras, thermostats, Stadia, xbox, Netflix always running, YouTube TV. I even run everything through a VPN router so I will always have access to Remote Dektop to two different servers. Phone connection just doesn’t have enough bandwidth.
This happened to me when i downloaded Komplete music production suite, I was downloading software for like a day and half straight. They said that because it was my first time going over they wouldnt charge me extra for the extra GBs.

For certain. I'm also doing some of those things working from home so I have internet as well. But its a good idea to use for folks who are nearing that limit to try and split the usage so they don't reach that limit.

bytches gave me that shyt, too. I'm on a 24 month contract, and was assured there was no cap, I'm fighting this shyt to get unlimited for the last 11 or so months on this contract. This is bullshyt. Going to bark at my state reps about this, and FiOS being frozen out of the city, allowing Comcast to squeeze people with no repercussions, especially at a time where people depend on their internet more than ever.Used 75% of my 1.2 TB this month already.
