Adele is a known Beyoncé stan. In addition, her biographer said that when she was younger, her mother introduced her to the music of Aaliyah, Alicia Keys, and Mary J. Blige — all of whom impacted her as well. Adele herself has also said she learned vocal technique from listening to people like Ella Fitzgerald, Etta James and Roberta Flack.
So I’m not sure what you mean when you say shes not of the culture. Most of her significant influences are Black...same as Amy’s. And she’s vocalized this many times.

Right. I’m the last person to be in here stanning for Adele but she moves units like a motha fukka. This is exactly what the industry needs right now, given how down sales are across the board and not even a joint Beyoncé/Hov album can save it
