He didn't do these. There are people above him that made these decisions, which was stated in the reports. He's not like Vince where he's head of creative and the owner. He's just head of creative.

HBK has stated in the past in interviews that call ups and releases happen on little to no notice and he has no control over it. If they had these names lined up for a week why did they have them used in stories on multiple shows? A lot of the NXT/Evolve talent had stuff going on just before this happened.

Riley, Javy and Gallus were all just featured on Evolve recently. Riley had a match a few Episodes ago. Javy was doing a story where he kept losing and hinted at making a gimmick change. Gallus was shown on this week's episode requesting a match with Swipe Right. Makes me wonder if they will just edit that out of the next broadcast.
