NXT Is Overrated

The crowd puts everything over. NXT is hella annoying because of it. That, and the fact Trips fast tracks all his guys straight to the upper mid card is also getting annoying now.

There are things to like about it (less storylines, small setting, etc.) but the crowd kind of ruins the whole thing for me.

Some of that upper midcard to the WWE only ends with a Cena defeat and having to get credibility back unless your the Shield types...well Ambrose got brought down but they still depend on him to fill in for main events at times.

Sami being sacrificed for Owens was kinda I know people liked it at the time but it might be a mistake in the long run. Though they'll probably have a feud when he returns anyway just felt like he got destroyed for no reason. I know it was to help put over Owens as a beast but still good babyfaces don't come around often.

Ascension look was changed and were given promos to say they were better than legends, then commentary proceeds to bury them as such

naw she was decent in the ring, but that gimmick was never going to work...
Ascension was in nxt, and was exposed on the main roster

then further that, i have yet to see him talk about anything remotely meaningful. Maybe im just waiting for that "wow" moment but it hasnt happened for me yet

ive heard of his feuds on NJPW and hes got a big following from that, ive yet to see anything to warrant it yet though

but yeah no hes no "developmental" talent. Dudes been at it for like 10 years breh

EDIT: hes the guy that founded bullet club in NJPW and that was pretty sick, but they got away with using WWE moves/mannerisms/characters overseas that he cant here im guessing

Naw man bo dallas, and Emma, ascension, were not ready to be on the main roster, they are just there cause of their mega push in nxt.. I think thats why they havent called up that prince pretty dude, they know he will fail..

This is why the crowd has to stop putting everything over. It gives WWE a deludded idea of where the character is going, then they just flop on the main roster and become job guys (upper or lower midcard depending on how much the Kliq likes you.)

Yea, its funny how as of lately none of the talent that as came up has been completely homegrown.. WWE just doesnt know how to let characters evolve from scratch.. I think the problem is they force gimmicks on people instead of letting them become an extension of their character, they also have too many rules as to what you cant do.. The indy guys are aloowed to rise to the top doing pretty much anything they want all wwe does is trim the fat.

its not just lately. its always been like that.

the only era when the wwe mostly relied on homegrown talent is the dark-ages that we're coming out of(cena/orton/etc)

everything else was just the wwf putting their stamp on mostly already established stars.

Owens already said several times it wasn't him though and he didn't benefit at all from it
