WWE confirmed today that NXT will begin airing on the USA Network starting on September 18th. In a press release sent to Wrestling Inc., it was noted that WWE and the USA Network reached an agreement "in principle", and that the show will be live for two hours every week.
"The move to USA Network provides an opportunity to deepen our relationship with NBCUniversal and further build the NXT brand," said WWE CEO Vince McMahon. "Over the long term, our goal is to develop a following that can be monetized to the same level as our flagship programs, Raw and SmackDown."
WWE also confirmed that the show will take place each week from Full Sail University.
Vince McMahon Reportedly To Become More Involved With NXT

NXT is currently one of the single best wrestling brands out there. The storylines are detailed and engaging, with the black and gold brand boasts some of the best in-ring workers on the planet.
Up to this point, the company has been spearheaded by Triple H, but that could be about to change.
NXT is set to move from the WWE Network to FS1 by October. If reports are to be believed, then NXT will now be a two hour show, going directly head-to-head with AEW’s new TNT TV show.

Report: NXT To Be Given Same Time Slot As AEW Weekly Show
With NXT becoming a live TV show on a major cable network, Dave Meltzer has reported that Triple H’s influence on the show might decrease.
Taking to Twitter, Meltzer states that Kevin Dunn and Vince McMahon would “have to” be involved with NXT in some capacity when it goes to FS1 and begins running for two hours.
