Gunther is a new WWE star btw. I know he has multiple title runs so in yall minds he should be tossed aside because he had his turn, but his WWE main roster debut was 2023 and he’s been one of the most successful callups ever. His light continuing to shine isn’t gonna dim anyone elses. Jevon and Leon about to show out Saturday in front of plenty new eyes. Neither of them nikkas need to retire Cena to be “created”.. a nikka like Jevon gon be a star just off talent alone, buckle up nikka.

He was a NXT and NXT UK champ for 870 days. The only 2 people who really ever beat him were Dragonov and Pete Dunn. He has been a dominant force in WWE for almost 8 years now, and was a made man the moment he stepped into NXT UK.

I need people to understand the vast majority of WWE’s audience do not watch NXT and NXT adjacent off springs like NXT UK. When Gunther appeared on Smackdown with Imperium in 2023, that was the WWE audiences introduction to him. He’s been in the WWE’s main event scene for a year. Hes one of the WWE’s new faces, regardless of his age. So is Breakker. So is Reed. So is Knight. So are Solo and Jacob. So is Dragunov, etc.

4 years.. 5 years ago, the people who pay to watch the show had no idea who he even was. Now they’ll pay money to watch him perform. He is in fact a new star.


You can’t ask for a new star and then once one is made, ask them to move aside for somebody new. Let bro rock out. Again, him being in this position isn’t dimming anyone else’s light.


Y’all ask for new faces to get pushed, and then once a Rhea Ripley type arrives and becomes a megastar, yall beg for the company to move on from em. It doesn’t work like that.

So it's 6 losses by pin/sub. Still crazy that someone has under 10 singles losses 6 years in their WWE career. He started in 2019.

There’s a million different things that get you there


There’s no world that exists where Ricky Starks or some random NXT guy retires John Cena and suddenly they’re a mega star overnight with millions of kids buying his merch or some shyt. It’s not that simple. Retiring Cena would be a great look for anybody of course, but the idea that you pin him and suddenly your career is to the moon is an oversimplification of how this shyt works.
