Those of you who live in or near Bushwick, consider checking out this bar called Luv Story on Wyckoff Avenue by the Halsey stop. It's a dope little spot with a mostly black crowd, and I think it might even be black run. Plenty of fine women there, too
I wanna move back to my home
Walking or taking the train everywhere. I freaking hate driving. When I lived in East new york and went to college in Manhattan (45 min-1hour train ride) I would just take a seat, pull out a book, and zone out for an hour till I reached my stop. I ran thru so many great books. Or just pop in my head phones and close my eyes (not sleeping). Or eat. I just liked sitting down and traveling.
Access to everything. Every hair, makeup, or health vitamin product I wanted was always a train ride away. But here in Florida there is nothing. I always gotta get shyt shipped in which when you factor in the shipping cost it becomes a pain in the ass. And this white ass state never has my shade in stores. I went to NY in July and I was drooling at all the shades they had for black women, all the African health food stores that had all the niche little herbs and oils I wanted, beauty supply store had everything I wanted. It was a black women's Beaty product paradise

The food. You name it we have 3 of it. There's too many chain stores in FL. I'm done with the fukking olive garden and Applebee's. To find some Korean, Vietnamese, Russian, Greek, Jamaican, Cuban,etc food round here is a whole entire magic school bus adventure. shyt is annoying.

I love it here. Im not even from the boroughs i grew up in Mt vernon but every time someone said “lets hit the city” that shyt was a new adventure everytime. U gotta accept the good with the bad of course. U can go down a block and run into some shawtys or a poppin spot or get ya head busted and robbed
