It's funny cause Top Dawg or Punch said Kendrick sold the worst on the west-coast. Which means he sold more in NY than in Cali.

ny right now has that movement the young west/new west had coming up in 08 09, these new artists are now developing and shyt. overdoz, the whole tde, odd future, dom kennedy, casey veggies, nipsey hussle, pac div, hopsin, yg, and etc, that type of movement is happening in the east right now.. with joey badass and his pro-era crew, asap-rocky with the asap mob, french montana with the cokeboys (he just signed that dude that was rolling with chief keef), action bronson, azealia banks, vinny cha$e x kid art and their cheers club movement, the underachievers, bodega bamz and his tan boys, etc etc those the biggest ones right now but there are other crews too... i think in 3 years that whole "ny is dead" "there's no music coming out of ny" shyt is gonna be done
