Politicians have these governors in Their back pocket so you can’t trust their words 100% of the time. During the pandemic he was sounding like a different person but it was Obviously just to make himself look good. And if you ever dealt with NYPD you would know that they ain’t your friends to begin with. I’ve been frisked, planted on a wall questioned & searched for no apparent reason. I don’t respect them and always try to avoid getting in contact with them.
