Ock (or Akh) is just Arabic for "brother".
Sometimes you may also hear Akhi (Ockie) which is Arabic for "my brother"

In some places its just a general hood term for arab dudes (the akhs at the gas station, or the akhs in the corner store)

Yeah I mainly hear nikkas from Philly, Jersey, northern Delaware, NYC, and CT say ock/akhi. They even refer to each other with that word sometimes too if either of them are Moslem.
