The problem with all your arguments is we know trickle economics are not real and the Supreme Court passed Citizens United. The rich went from being benign powerbrokers to oligarchs AND the country is in stagflation. The wealthy have to be taxed because money has to be removed from the system somewhere and it shouldn’t be the working poor or the very narrow middle class.

You don’t like what Mamdani is saying but he is actually saying what needs to be said. NYC is required to balance its budget. Could he kick the can down the road by selling everything not glued to the sidewalk? Maybe, but that’s what de Blasio did, so there is barely anything left. Not to mention those rich cocksuckers are about to see a massive tax break on the federal level. There should be no sympathy for them, and if you know how the BBB is designed to be rolled out, damn near everyone is going to be rocking green caps with a L for Luigi on it by next summer.
