this is wishful thinking.
Even if a Trump doesnt get elected youre assuming Mamdani types cant do harm...even if its unattended harm.

Housing Projects came from good place but looked how they turned out.

There are always unintented consequences to any policy. But sitting idly by and letting the free market decide is a non-starter. The fact he's getting input from different people is better than nothing. I'm the last person to trust Democrats but there are ways to fix the affordability crisis.

its not the free market that is creating the housing problem.

the problem is multi faceted and politicians are only going to sell you an easy answer that benefits them (as always).
They are always going to sell you on "its not you/me, its them"

Zoning is a major problem...builders cant build affordable housing.
How land is taxed is another issue.

You fix those issues and builders can build affordable housing.

You NEVER hear politicians talk about land value tax over property tax?
Why is that?
