Speaking of cheesesteak I had some good cheesesteak at Wogies this past Sunday. A typical white bar covered in Eagles sportswear inside that sell Hoagies and cheesesteaks in West Village.

Couple questions, do bodegas sell liquor, not beer/wine but liquor? I think I heard people say they get pizza from there, they got ovens in them? I seen videos with flat top grills and delis. Are they all 24 hours?Never been to NY yet, hope so one day.

There are some that do after hrs but u gone pay way more for it and even that's rare
Never seen a bodega that sells pizza
Not all are 24 hrs but a 24 hr one is within 5 blocks of just about anywhere especially in the hood

They also have nuances depending on whether they are Arab or Latino owned. I find that Arab ones are more likely to be 24/7 but they usually don't sell pork and alcohol.
