Why any city would wanna host the Olympics is beyond me...I guess it strokes the cities ego...but it DOES NOT help the economy.

The IOC now has a policy of only awarding the games to a city that has or can put in place excellent transport links..... most American cities apart from New york and a few other cities cant compare to European or Asian cities in that department.....
