There’s also a Kennedy/Crown Fried Chicken in every hood out here. You know, if you’re craving the authentic NY cuisine. :troll:

I mostly know Queens spots. Lots of trains so easy to get to if you’re on the subway.

+1 on the Astoria Seafood. Not the prettiest or most fancy looking spot (and that’s me being nice) but tasty and affordable fresh seafood and seafood based dishes.

Sybil’s in Queens for West Indian food.

La Cabaña in Queens for artery-clogging fried Dominican foods. This is not a place where you’ll find rice and beans. Just shyt that’s super bad for you but also super delicious and that should be washed down with a cold Presidente. It’s legit a hole in the wall .... you might pass by it when u look for it the first time lol. But it’s on the same block as the 7 train so easy to get to.

For pizza, pick a spot tbh. There are so many...and more good ones than bad ones. If you eat bad pizza in NYC, you probably have bad luck :manny: Margheritas on Jamaica Ave is a good and safe option.

If you’re looking for Asian foods (and not just exactly Japanese or Chinese...more Viet, Filipino, Tibetan, Cambodian, Indian etc), you can legit just stroll between like 55th and 80th Street on Roosevelt Avenue under the 7 train. The have everything.

There’s an authentic Mexican restaurant or truck on pretty much every other block in NYC. If you’re looking for something more decent, de Mole in Sunnyside on 48th Avenue is amazing. Authentic Mex, affordable and I don’t feel like the meat will give me food poisoning. :yeshrug:

There’s a deli on 108th st and 37th Dr(DRIVE NOT AVENUE, which is the next block down) in Corona. I forgot what the name is now (used to be Lovera Deli) but it’s the only bodega there. I doubt you’ll find yourself out there, but if you do, try a chimi de pollo with onions and pepper sauce. Ask the guy at the register for a “jugo de chinola” which is fresh passion fruit juice. GOAT after-club meal b :wow: The bodega is packed every Saturday from 2am to like 5:30-6am.
Margaritas on the ave arguably the best slice in New York ig been going there since the 90s every time I visit my grandmother in rochdale

I accompany your :scust: sentiments.

I guess Queens is a little further out for you. Maybe some NYC TSC brehs can help with something a little close (the city, BX) @tremonthustler1 @g-ice @Beautiful Bobby Eatin @MartyMcFly @WaveMolecules
I live in Jersey now but i will absolutely hit up Harlem World for Sweet Mama's soul food any day. Catered my boys baby shower with their food.
For mexican theres Dos Caminos in the city.
Wings i generally go to Croxleys and catch a game but if you want an over all experience with food Astoria or Williamsburg are one of the best places to go. Tons of good places.

And ask anyone from Astoria about El Rey Del Taco on Ditmars :ohlawd:

I agree with the poster that said Chicago pizza is better than NYC pizza. Giordano's :ohlawd:

I might have to get some pies shipped here to my house.
