North Riverdale means you have some paper. Just like any place you will always have jerks and a$$holes but the big thing with Riverdale is quiet neighbors....Thats all they care about over there. OP's post is highly subjective. There really is a strong case for London being the greatest city in the world. Not as fast paced as NYC but it matches it sometimes surpasses it in every other category

New York is overrated. People in the Northeast tend to be uptight, pretentious, arrogant and moody, even while on drugs/Rx. Also, poor to middle class people who lived in NYC for 2 generations have crooked, yellowing, or baby teeth, perhaps it's the water. (I am not trolling, like Spike Lee, JayZ Lil Kim, Biz Markie's etc grills before money).

So your biggest gripes is the NYC attitude and the few NY'ers with bad teeth. And thats your whole argument as to why Sand Diego is better??

Went up there for a week before Valentine's.. Day.. Never again..seeing folks crammed into subways like slaves.. Stayed in Harlem and everything smelled like piss.. 5 barbershops on every Street no wonder papoose got cut with his hat on. The. It was like 10 degrees fukk that it ain't worth it.

Atlanta or the bay are way more preferable and the people are nicer

My Woman stay asking me to go out as well semi-regularly to restaurants and shyt and I'm like nah . I usually need at least one day to decompress inside after dealing with a whole workweek of tolerating a$$holes on the subway and streets and shyt. On the weekends I don't go into the city. I need a break.

My next gig I am asking for at least 1 work-from-home day a week just to relieve some of the stress of commuting. It's getting worse and worse each year less trains and more people.

And many are mid-western CAC transplants that have no manners and are barbaric and invade your personal space. The mexicans are getting brave too and I've had to put some of them in their place with just a look, body language and not saying a word. Sometimes you practically have to look at people like you damn near ready to strangle them for them to snap out of their delusional state and stop rustling all up on you.

There is a large influx of idiots to this city in the past 7 years and if you are a local, you've figured out ways to minimize contact and stress as much as possible by doing things like:

- Entering the front or back ends of the trains (depending on the line) where less people congregate
- Frequenting alternative grocery stores offshoot from main streets where not as many people go
- Utilizing online delivery more heavily such as FreshDirect, Amazon Prime, etc to get groceries and toiletries without having to wait on 30 minute lines in the evening just to get a few things
- Working out at home to avoid gym rats and "personalities"

Sounds like you 2 just need a car and you could have avoided all of this.

Ruth Chris' is the best steakhouse in NYC and this is coming from a man who was in Texas while in the military.

Ruth Chris is a national chain, and definitely not the best steakhouse in nyc. The palm and del frescos are better, but they also have locations elsewhere.
