NYC Hip Hop might not be on top like it once was...But NYC is still the best city in the world.

I been all over the country and no city has the energy of NYC. I do miss how the city was before 9/11 though. You were damn near right outside Philly when you would see the towers in the distance on 95.
:mjcry:
Word? You could see them from that far away?

OP's post is highly subjective. There really is a strong case for London being the greatest city in the world. Not as fast paced as NYC but it matches it sometimes surpasses it in every other category

I could just imagine some chocolate foxy brown-looking chick with a pasty White hipster looking dude:

I see that often. They the same kind of black women that assume that black men are worthless.

And I love black women, regardless. :ohlawd:

New York is overrated. People in the Northeast tend to be uptight, pretentious, arrogant and moody, even while on drugs/Rx. Also, poor to middle class people who lived in NYC for 2 generations have crooked, yellowing, or baby teeth, perhaps it's the water. (I am not trolling, like Spike Lee, JayZ Lil Kim, Biz Markie's etc grills before money). I prefer out West. Diversity, weather, tamale carts, and people are much nicer in Southern California. Honestly I can't think of a better place location or culturally than San Diego. Naval base is the second largest in the US. Wish I could get more upwardly mobile brehs/brehettes to come. And for trade, you can never go wrong with a port city. Better weed more attractive and physically fit people. People have Southern sensibilities (without the backwardness) where they help out the homeless. It's literally a paradise. 20 mins to TJ and 2 hours to LA, 3 hours to central valley 7 hour road trip to the Bay. Food is fresh and local (the Valley and from Mexico, local enough) .

Born and raised in NYC, but I don't miss it at all. I will never live there again unless a huge business opportunity opens up.

Sorry, but places like Las Vegas, Miami and several other destinations in the United States ALONE are more enjoyable to me than NYC these days.

I'mma spit it real: NYC not what it used to be.

Anybody who says different living in the late 90's early 00's at best (in their own got damn mind).:francis:

Gentrification, Cost of Living, Midwest CAC transplants are on the top 5 list of things that ruined it all....Add in some Bloomberg and I forget what the last thing is - Oh yeah the MTA.:martin:
