He'll be successful getting the venues and radio stations on board. The DJs might be a mixed bag. I got little faith the streaming companies will do much to ban this but it wouldn't shock me if they get the Feds involved. The demo that loves this will always be a step or two ahead, there are too many avenues to distribute music.

If anything rappers might start covering their faces like they do in England.

Mayor Adams being fairly obvious about what's about to go down. He's been asking for tougher bail laws, he's been fighting with the state about ways to fight the increases in gun crimes. It's a slow build up, the police unions and NYPD have been calm about this too.

Well if the mayor holds his stance, then the artist have to adjust.. People who run businesses have to adjust to new rules and regulations all the time.. These dudes aren't exempt to the same issues everyone else faces. Im just glad to see that the mayor is giving them an opportunity to voice their stance before moving forward..

what regulations can the mayor put forth? He cant regulate whats said on songs. he can ask that youtube and IG flag certain content but he can not control that. you dont need a permit to record somthing and put on IG. there will always be another platform for them to use

People find ways to hold people accountable.. Sandy Hook families just received $73 million settlement because Remington arms was accused of advertising to mentally disturbed buyers..
