It’s crazy but true, online and like in comment sections and shhit, it be like 85% of the people saying Nas >>> Jayz. Only time you will really see Jayz ranked above Nas, for the most part, is like when big commercial publications do these lists…or when commercial rappers give their Top 5. Seems fishy lol…but I’m not gonna do that, there’s no wrong answer between those 2, the resumes are otherworldly, no one should ever be ranked higher than them. True. Jay made some noise in 96-97 but really blew up in 98. Same with X. But both RD and It's Dark and Hell is Hot are such classics that I'd include them. If we're talking Mount Rushmore of NY groups, then Wu, Tribe, Mobb and Gang Starr or De La.
