- So one theory is that the sanitation dept trying to sabotage deBlasio.
- The other is that Amazon took all the tax dollars and they couldn't afford to get the trucks out.

shyt was a catastrophe. A sprinkle if snow was expected and we got about 4 inches of an icy rain snow mix so streets were slippery. Both states didn’t put the call to salt or plow until the snow was sticking and accidents were happening.
shyt got bad quick cause it started snowing at 2pm. Right when Everyone is gearing up to hit the roads. By 3pm it was gridlock you literally couldn’t drive anywhere.
My lucky ass wasn’t feeling well so I stayed home.
I had to pick my kids up from school and a ride that usually takes 30min round trip took me 1hr 45 min.
My pops had to make a 12 mile drive from manhattan to Nj. It took him 6 hrs!! He said he was in his car sitting on the highway in park for 2hrs.
My coworker got off work at 3 didn’t get home till 830pm.
shyt goes to show if there is every an evacuation type emergency just stay home cause you fukked on the roads.

What really happened is the NWS called for an inch of snow and then rain. Therefore the roads weren't salted and there was no alarm raised. The snow never really changed over until late.\

Depending on where you live that was Hell On Earth.
I live uptown and it looked like decent rain at the most. A car or two got split by a tree and that was the extent of it over there. Cable was still working and the usual set of stores were open. My job let nikkax stay home the whole week on their dime
