I'm staying with family in Co Op City. Probably one of the nicest area of the whole city (despite it being hard to travel). Parkcheter is great. City Island is great. Go to school on Fordrahm Road (which is near where I grew up). Prefer calm and quiet of Co Op.

TERRIBLE. R.I.P. just saw update on news, he ended up dying today. He had been arrested 7 years old and was already shot once before in the past.
Man shot on Soundview street; gunman escapes

3 fukkin pm while kids coming home from school.
Kingsbridge is cool too, if I ever move to the Bronx I would probably go there. I wouldn't mind living in Co-op city though, it seems relatively nice but like you said kinda out of the way from everything else.

And wow that's sad, even though the city has gotten a lot safer over the years, there's still a lot of violence in some areas.

When bottle service and strip clubs started to emulate Puffy's model, the black club experience went downhill.
That's false and if you really from this city you know that. It has absolutely nothing to do with Puffy, people were popping bottles in the 80's and early 90's. Club owners had higher rents and we're opening more than 2 days aweek to keep in business . Bottle service kept the places open and rent paid . What hurt the black club experience was violence . With smart phones where you can just text people that a fight broke out and don't bother showing up because the cops shut us down is why the black club experience died. That and this is a real big reason it's an expensive habit in this city to go out now . In the nineties people rode the train in and back home . Now you have to add uber into the budget. I go out to the at least 3 spots on a Saturday night. I take the train in because it's a quick ride and only 2.75. Rooftop hotel if my bartender isn't there is 12:00 for a beer plus tip. That's pre game there. Next spot 2 drinks about 40.00 at the end. Then top the night off at Oak and I usually get hooked up with a drink but if I see people who have hooked me up before then I have to return the favor that's about 25.00. Then uber ride home to Queens is 40-48 depending if I take uber black because I'm not about take the train home that late. That's being conservative also. Nightlife just got too expensive and the spots that thrived like negril died because lack of repeat business and rents drove them out.

What's the point of going to those bottle service clubs as opposed to regular bars? Does your chance of getting p*ssy increase?

And I'm far from cheap, but paying $9 dollars for a mixed drink is bad enough, I would go broke pretty quick if I was paying $20 for them.

I like them and I get way better quality girls in the club than a bar. Bars have too many locals . 9.00 is nothing, if I couldn't afford to go then I would stay home, no purpose going to substandard spots.

Violence always been a part of the Hip Hop/ hood spots. :snoop: that didn't stop people from going to those places. I seen all type of savagery like cats getting body slammed n all and shootings. The bottle service was always the drug lord thing to do whwn crack was poppin, but when it trickled down to the average spots, is what killed a lot of people's desire to go to the club.

We can disagree on this , rent drove those spots to have bottle service to compete and stay open . 10 or 20 dollar admission won't keep the lights on if no one is drinking. Also violence did stop people from going, you going to spend money for a shootout before the acts to preform ? Why would a label send an act to get shoot at? Look at Frenchs boy who got killed after getting followed by some broke jealous bum.

I always thought they wore those for trying to stop air transmitted diseases
:usure: That's Forest Hills and that's a good area. Not that many bums in that area, it's pretty white . The police are always there or close . You must been there at night or an off day.

I think you're quoting the wrong post

He's talking about the surgical masks people wear in East Asia to avoid contracting airborne viruses

edit: I see you were referring to his post about "bums and smelly cac fakkits"

Worse than that is:

1) The people who decide to stop and hold a conversation in the middle of a busy sidewalk :stopitslime:

2) when 3 or more people try walking side by side on the sidewalk taking up all the damn space :stopitslime:
I walk right through them when they do that shyt I'm not about to walk in the fukking street.
