I used to drive courier/deliveries

between no parking as it is and whole blocks of parking spaces being removed for bicycles, this is just another reason to nickel and dime residents

I get enforcement but isn’t that the Nypd’s job? This is literally just a money grab along with the 24 hour speeding cameras

Me too bro .I ended up quitting because I had to use my own car and fuel my tank .

Driving around in fukking circles with nowhere to park or even double park just for a couple secs .

As I get older I’m starting to hate nyc and plan to move in the next few months. This being one of the reasons (bottom of the long list too).

I don't see much wrong with this...

Some of y'all gotta stop being all content/relaxed with casually breaking rules, we learned in elementary about this a long time ago.

It's ok once in awhile to break a rule but this whole nonchalant/“let me do what I do” way of thinking is just nearing you closer to a jail cell and/or court ticket appearance that could've been avoided if you cared enough about following rules and regulations.

they could make way more but they don't, like your infographic shows fines are only 0.9% of the city's revenue.

theres a proposal to let citizens take pictures of vehicles parked in the bike lane and get 25% of the fine thats paid.

NYPD could easily go after people not picking up their dogs poop but it's not a priority. it's the type of fine that nobody will feel bad you received it if you complain.
