Why? I know you got red pilled but what is so terrible about this?
Wtf is a red pill? Secondly, that legislation gives immigrant voting rights for people who have been nyc residents for at least 30 days ( Think about it, 30 days and the should have the right to vote in local elections?)

Are you even literate?

Give New Yorkers who are legal permanent residents as well as those authorized to work in the country the right to cast a ballot in municipal elections.

You must be new to America if your asking questions like this.

Ya know getting "simply" "authorized to work here" is a bit more than that... and the majority are permanent residents.
i work with tons of h1b's, and they don't care about/have knowledge of the american political landscape to be included in our voting. being taxed by a country you chose to move to for work reasons doesn't mean you get citizenship benefits.

and permanent employment residents are around 140k people, temp work authorization is around 1.4M, nah, 1.4M work authorized people don't deserve to vote, they're not citizens nor permanent residents
