that's what they're trying to promote. it was mostly petty cases with a few domestics- (fare evasion, protective order, larceny). He never served any state or fed time either.
They're going to make it seem like he went on a murderous violent rampage and was wildin for all 20 of those arrests. That's not the situation. And arrests does not equal convictions. This is NYPD - you could walk outside or be standing on the stoop to get arrested.

This shyt is what pisses me off to no end, people constantly putting up a persons arrest record with zero context and ignoring the actual conviction record. Arrest does not mean guilty but skmehow they use that shyt to try to paint a picture of a career criminal. The media should have more integrity with that type of shyt.

MAJOR FACTS... !! I'm saying. No context. None. And people are so quick to run with that, we have to do our own investigation - not run with a perception. For all we know, arrests could mean traffic violations or juvenile arrests. The man in the OP was never sent upstate, so that tells you something right there. There's a line between arrests, indictment and case adjudication. A lot of people see "arrests" and thin the worse possible scenario. Stop and Frisk - they were doing gang sweeps, picking up 40 people at a time- but only 4 of them were held over, the rest were let go. And then you have to consider the people not making bail, that have to sit until the hearing. They're not even proven guilty yet. None of this system is as black and white (pun intended) as it seems.

Wasn't it only a few months ago the cops got into a running shootout with some dude in the BX who they alleged was conducting a drug deal and shot at them? Turned out the dude never had a weapon. One cop let off 20 plus shots and hit two innocent bystanders, including a teenage girl smh. When Joe Public can't even see minor disciplinary charges these pigs are hit with, the idea that anything will amount from them being reckless is hilarious.

Back in December, yup, at most the dept will get hit with a civil suit, which they will sweep under the table and settle. But as far as disciplinary action - any investigation is a joke. They almost kill 2 innocent people, and other bystanders, trying to take down a drug dealer most of this cop shyt that they're on is about ego and control to them. they could care less about protection.
