People who doubt Trump-Russia will regret this
I thought this had been known for years.
Pretty well-acknowledged by virtually everyone, still relegated to a "conspiracy theory" by centrist losers.
I've been editing the Wikipage to add new information and been getting stonewalled by other editors.
Russiagate is one of the silliest applications of this.
The HW junta's Gulf War trickery, and Bush Jr's subsequent election fraud + Iraq War lies are a lot closer to this.
And here's the issue - the aforementioned serious events weren't "collusion" - in the silly way Russiagate was; they were deliberate actions by either U.S. governmental candidates or officials in power to warp actions by international bodies and influence the U.S. populace - not troll-farm posting.
The Russian governments disinformation campaigns predate Trump by a wide margin - I remember reporting on the IRA going back to my HS days, and Trump became a beneficiary of these actions long after they'd begun, if it wasn't him - it would have been the next friendly right-winger in power.
It's not about the hack and leak. It was everything. The phone calls, the meetings, the funding, etc.

Muller sent people from the Trump campaign to prison. It was no conspiracy...the Trump campaign was in direct communication with the Russians. fukking traitors.
The desire to downplay the actions of Russiagate because Mueller refused to indict a sitting president and Republicans refused to give away power will always be a strange conclusion.

I also think part of the confusion was Nixon AND Reagan both employed this tactic (Vietnam and Iran conflicts, respectively) so people mistake them.
Which speaks to the depravity of those involved.
