Real talk man. I'm tired off all these dumb ass threads with dudes who obviously hate the Knicks talking about should've, would've, could've. The past is the past and nothing can be done about it. All that matters is the PRESENT and the FUTURE. The Knicks are PRESENTLY 19-6, best record in the east. In the near FUTURE, the Knicks will be getting 2 pivotal pieces of the puzzle back. The Knicks PRESENTLY have a coach who they've only lost consecutive games under twice during the regular season. He also has everybody bought in to playing defense and sharing the ball. All this other talk is irrelevant and just noise.

The above quote isnt factual, as it veers from dishonestly to boldfaced lying. When Beck references the 30-36 record, he conveniently forgets to mention that a bulk of that record was complied when D'Antoni was coach, and when Melo was playing through multiple injuries during the beginning of the 11-12 abbreviated season. This is even more damming when considering that the Melo/Amare/Tyson triumvirate is like 8-1 with our current coach, which of course he also fails to include.

But then Beck follows that with a boldface lie about the 1-7 playoff record. He knows damn well Amare was hurt for both series and may have played in 2-3 games, total (and not at 100% at that). Shameless dishonesty, which puts his whole piece, and perhaps career, in to question. This is disturbing to me.

I've been telling mofos this exact thing all summer, that why I can't wait till Stat come back and make these fukkas look stupid

we were trash under dantoni @Ritzy Sharon and we had baron Davis who just kept getting his return date pushed back . We got Lin and dantoni didn't use him he said he could use td so ownership believed him .
Also we had to pick up billups in April ..... Then the lockout came and the amnesty was revealed and Dallas decided to not try and repeat . We signed chandler in December that's months later we can plan for a provision to exist that didn't exist or that Dallas was letting chandler go

@nismo what are you talking about . When have the Knicks ever started this good.. Your that much of a hater you just making stuff up we are 22-2 at home under Woodson and 36-12 total in the regular season it's not a fluke . He had similar turn around with the hawks and the became the team with the least amount of to in the league like we are now. But yup a typical Knicks season

a then (and shyt, still is) unproven Lin and the corpse of Baron Davis don't exactly qualify as adequate replacements, but OK.

I honestly don't know how it will all work out, no one does. But I would never expect someone paid to write about the NBA to basically state his opinion as fact. If Amare stays healthy and evolves into a 6th man then they will be just fine.
