I care more about people being exploited and stolen from; I care more about corruption from than I do about EA's NCAA games. EA sucks anyway and there's always Madden. 2K will take up the football game mantle and produce an iconolast game.

NCAA has been better than Madden for the past decade. 2K is done for Negros still saying "NFL2K5 was the best!"

The NCAA game question has no bearing on what courts should rule and whether players deserve compensation for companies using their likeness, but I'll bite. EA might be coerced into putting more developer resources into Madden now the company isn't making NCAA anymore.

Sounds like you're a terrible person that's unfit to judge. In real life a video game or series isn't worth the indentured slavery and the corruption of institutions. The latter are enduring markers of a society's value while the former is irrelevant consumerism fraught with injustice. im curious the percentage of players that would have rather played as themselves in said video game over getting like 200 bucks for being in it. i know it sets a precedent for the future in regards to compensation, but you have to think most players jumping in the suit expected more than that

It's funny b/c this has never been a problem with any players I knew at OU. They just loved to have themselves in a video game. Never heard one say, "I should be getting paid for this" They're concerned about how fast they are in the game or their catching rating.

Would they have turned down a check for it? No.
But they weren't mad about it either.
