OB4CL2 vs Stillmatic

Stillmatic because it answered the game's questions about Nas. And, standing by itself, it is a classic. :NasWinsAgain:

But OB4CL2 gets respect for its consistency and its themes throughout. IMO, it's like Scorcese's Departed. Rae, like Scorcese did to Internal Affairs, took a classic (OB4CL) and, instead of trying to show how much he switched his style, he modernized and fulfilled it. And it's awesome how Rae and Ghost STILL have that impeccable chemistry.

Exactly. Stillmatic is a landmark album for obvious reasons but Rae definitely did his thing.

Cuban Linx 2 getting destroyed

Stillmatic ain't really a sequel but Cuban Linx 2 isn't better in no ways. Cuban Linx 2 is consistent? Consistent at what racking up forgettable songs?

One has classics the other one doesn't. One made an impact in the game the other didn't.

Cuban Linx 2 has no tracks on the level of 2nd Childhood, You're da Man, The Flyest, Destroy & Rebuild, Rewind.

Only @stomachlines said it was boring.
OBFCL 2 made an impact. It sold well and generated attention. Raekwon had a little resurgence in the mainstream as a result of the album, popping up on tracks with Kanye the next year. Ross too. And Banks.

But I agree it doesn't have the highs that Stillmatic has. And I voted Stillmatic.
