black unemployment rate is high largely because a lot of blacks didn't pay attention in school, either dropping out or just focused on other dumb shyt rather than hitting the books and gaining the skills necessary to make it in this job market. they would rather smoke loud 24/7 and get turnt up than get an education. i'm not going to feel sorry for them.

Even MLK was a republican, but those were different times. Blacks need economic empowerment to address all our problems, and we wont achieve that with this liberal unfocused mess. Conservatives are better at making money..Blacks did better under Republican admins, with the exception of the Clinton era. Voting records show Democrats helped him make his economic mess. Take a close look at many of the bills that got passed his last two years in office when the Democrats gained a majority. And then ask yourself why they lost said majority partway through Obama's term? The media didn't cover this so most folks have no clue. Typical politicians jumping up with solutions to problems they helped create. This ain't an ode' for Republicans before everybody gets all in their feelings. I'm just saying Democrats ain't angels in all this. Do some research, brehs.

The welfare and success of the economy is largely determined by the business cycle, not what presidents do. No matter who was president in the 90s would have benefited from the dot com boom, just as anyone who was president in the 80s would have benefited from various oil mining places going online. Likewise the banks were going to crash the economy no matter who was president in the 00s; maybe it would have been delayed if there was more regulation in place post 2004 (ie if Kerry won) but ultimately the seeds were sowed towards the end of Clinton's term.

There is no evidence MLK was a republican, nor did he ever endorse any politicians - democrat or republican. In fact he shat on both parties regularly, although ultimately he did have some faith in JFK for awhile. He worked with LBJ though. This is just an idiotic talking point on the right, and they constantly lie or distort the political realities of the 60s. Specifically the dixiecrat shift to the republican party and Nixon's Southern Strategy.

Spend a trillion on a mindless war and expect a roaring economy. Im not saying 'republicans' are good or excusing their crimes against humanity, Im saying you have to separate conservatism from cacs and their republican party. All people by their very nature are mostly either liberal or conservative. You are either or..how does that exclude Black people? Blacks vote dem only because of allegiances and association of segregation to republicans. A democrat is almost 100% certain they have the Black vote. Im not talking about conservatism in a political sense, but in the way we live our lives as a community, family values etc. too much liberalism has resulted in us being too care free about everything and getting defeated in business eg, other people setting up their businesses in Black areas etc etc. Politically, it becomes something else. I think we need a change of mindset and get better organised from top to bottom, but being easy going about it wont work.
