He's a White Liberal so he'll get a pass. Seen it way too many times. They get a pass for everything. Set out anything, article, weblink, whatever where a White Liberal did something outlandish racially and didn't get a huge pass. S/N I did read the article and it seems he is trying to draw attention to some 'plight' within the news media. But in this day and age very few will read the article in the first place but once it becomes publicly known that he isn't a Republican or a Llibertarian that won't matter. Watch. Your political leanings soften or harder folks' views of your actions. THis has been proven time and time again. Because everybody knows only Republicans are two things : (1)Rich and (2) Racist. The media told everybody that.:troll: And people really believe it. This won't be a plat thread as a result of his leanings and 75% of the posts that do get here will be on some :cape:. :mindblown:

Context matters, and you have to be fair to the author by discussing his point in an honest way. He was providing commentary on the irrefutable fact that a sizable population in this country will never accept Obama simply because of the color of his skin, and not by his performance. Im assuming this is response to the poll that named Obama the worst president since ww2, which is an outrageous result given the previous admin.

The headline was obviously provocative, and its fair to judge the appropriateness of it, but it was not a racist article that attempted to demean blacks. The focus was demeaning racists, and if we like to value "real talk", welp this is it. If you dont think there are thousands, possibly millions of whites who are calling Obama a nikker at this very minute then you're being hopelessly naive. If you're too sensitive to discuss that then say so.

The article doesn't justify the headline because it's not breaking new ground or shining a light on something hidden. The topic being discussed, people hating Obama due to his race, has been obvious sicne before he was elected and has been discussed on various news programs throughout his term. This article isn't going to shock anyone out of appathy or start a real discussion on race. Its just an excuse for a very racist headline to bring attention to a very small newspaper none of us heard of before today.
