hes saying purity tests, basically if you think a public servant shouldnt take big money lets say or you should support single payer if youre a democrat or the base wont support you, hes calling that a purity test which is really just a standard. then he makes a legitimate point about people being overly woke online and thinking that just making posts or calling out peoples language online changes anything. those are two separate issues. hes completely right on one and completely wrong on the other. hes lumping them together so people say oh yeah good point and then dont have any standards and vote for a biden type
