Lemme get thia straight. The pres basically has no power. Just can suggest stuff. And the local officials we elect have to push that legislation through. The officer should be brought up on federal charges, the justice department should investigate the police dept and prosecutor and charge them accordingly. And if nothing else can be done he can issue executive orders. Thats not what executive orders are for. And it would set a terrible precedent almost certainly leading to impeachment.

Even further, these things aren't about things like prosecution. They're about things like making sure employees of the government get paid or that statues of some laws are adjusted.
Thats not how this works.
The precedent it sets would be terrible and effectively say that any future president can circumvent any court ruling and be as vindictive as possible because they didn't like the outcome.
Having a black president doesn't mean you always get what you want.
The problem may rely on the law or it may not, but perverting the law doesn't help anyone.
