President Barack Obama has decided to build his presidential library on the South Side of Chicago, where his political career began.

"The library is expected to be an economic boon to the South Side, a part of the city that includes impoverished neighborhoods wracked with high unemployment and high crime. Throughout the process, the university and area aldermen stressed that the hundreds of thousands of visitors to the library would mean thousands of jobs and millions of dollars. People are expected to come from around the world to view and study artifacts and documents from Obama's political career and presidency."

We will see how those jobs are distributed and we already know that those millions of dollars will not go into the Black community.

The problem is that the major unions still have racial problems and when the unions push for these contracts, they will not have to bend to bringing in more Blacks. What we have to do is press the unions to ease their racial barriers (which they better do because the new governor is using that as a reason to attack unions) so Blacks can get a lot of those jobs if they go union.
