WTF is the point of this Obama? You got like 5 mins left in office.
He's the leading philosopher of nothing. He's a guy with some ideas who is free to speak on TV.
Not nearly as influential as you'd like him to be. He been deriding Putin, and has called for genocide of Ukrainians and full scale war with Europe.
He just serves as an outlet for outsiders who want to villify Russia to point to and say 'this is how they operate'.

So you cape for Russian imperialism as a solution to avoiding American imperialism.
I'm not a Russian citizen. It's up to Russian citizens to fight against Russian imperialism, and then also any populations in neighboring states that are victims of Russian imperialism.
But aside from my socialist internationalism, what Russia is doing in the Baltics has very little to do with my lived experience as a New Afrikan.
The only Russians who have ever caused me problems are cacs of Russian descent over here
and even then, they are a small minority of cacs here.
Kaliningrad is a prime example of Soviet/Russian imperialism and ethnic cleansing.
Russia apologists don't want to talk about that though.

While I agree that of course they should, the Western powers have for some time unfairly and selectively chosen which independent nations/peoples have a right to self determination and which would be client states and colonies. The US has ignored pleas for financial/military assistance from legitimate gov'ts and popular rebel uprisings challenging European colonialist nations (her allies) while defending against Chinese and Russian (among other "enemy" nation's) influence in strategic/ special interest areas of the world. I can shed no tears for the Baltics, the livelihood of Mexican citizens are far more relative to me given their proximity
