Lol, this is gloating? Whose being defensive here lmao.
Just asked a question, but it sounds like we agree there is nothing to be gloating about. I just saw some hail this state one of the biggest success stories and wondered how...Lol, this is gloating? Whose being defensive here lmao.
Lol, the data is right there. People went from not being insured to insured. Being insured is a good thing for individuals and the country at large. Your ignorance is not an invalidation of what has been accomplished.Just asked a question, but it sounds like we agree there is nothing to be gloating about. As I said, had the info showing the reduced cost to the state been posted in the OP it would make sense, all I see is people doing what Govt. mandated...Lol, the data is right there. Have you ever heard of a website called Google? As I said, had the info showing the reduced cost to the state been posted in the OP it would make sense, all I see is people doing what Govt. mandated...and it being hailed a huge success...
So I questioned it...
On point as usual.
... I just asked a question. No need to get defensive...
If I put a gun to your head and forced you to do something, i wouldn't be shocked or gloating about you doing it.
Now if the OP had showed a reduction in cost to tax payer as @GinaThatAintNoDamnPuppy! mentioned, that would be different, but it simply shows people doing what they have been forced to do, and for some reason this is seen as something worth gloating about...
I was wondering why... obviously im missing something.
edit: ill check the book out.

The fine/tax for being uninsured is only $125 for 2014, so you can't say that is the motivation behind purchasing coverage. Find another angle.
It's cheaper to get penalized for NOT getting insurance than to having it.
People opted in to pay more for having insurance than to pay a fine of $95 come next April.
To a degree that is a success.
how is it gloating? more people have healthcare. thats a great thingI'm not trying to say anything, I'm asking how is people doing anything they are mandated/forced to do by the govt. surprising or something to gloat about?
