No one is going to repeal the filibuster though. The party in the majority at the time may hate it but they know that one day they will be in the minority again and would like to have the option of a filibuster.At the moment it seems unlikely, but all that's really needed is to repeal the filibuster and reclaim the house and it's very possible imo.
There something wrong here. If these people are making so close to the poverty levels, they should be eligible for Medicaid. It seems Medicaid recipients are being forced into the private market, therefore squeezing their incomes unnecessarily. Not to take a hardcore liberal position, but I would bet a good amount of change, that these forced private market people are from republican leaning states.
