LOL, the individual mandate shouldn’t HAVE to be a thing. You got to be a dirty, fukking gross clown to not have health insurance if you can afford it. It’s like anti-vaxers, to be a functioning member of society, you should have healthcare, to be a decent human being in THIS country, if you are able bodied, you should shoulder some of the cost, because that’s how normal people should be when living in this rich country. The most vulnerable of our citizens should be helped out. To me, it’s like having insurance, when you HAVE to have insurance to drive, it’s because someone needs to cover the cost if you have an accident.
All these arguments from conservatives “we shouldn’t have to have the insurance if we don’t want to” is fukking trash. It’s just more selfish trash from people that care more about being told they “can’t” use racist terms because they want to than they care about children getting murdered in school. I just don’t understand what kind of sick fukking brains you have to have to think you not having insurance is way more important than vulnerable citizens having access to insurance.
