But truly the overarching point of Obama's presidency to black America was basically "don't expect the U.S. gov't to repay what they legally owe"...his lack of acknowledgement of ANYTHING was to make the ingnoring of the debt owed to African Americans a "status quo", "universal", understanding. Actually, Obama has always been against reparations, even prior to him being president.
