Cuba, pulling the troops out, The assassination of Bin Laden, Iran, gay marriage etc have all happened to be put on the books and on the record. The only time he and his team sees value in Black Americans are when votes are needed. PR team played people with the whole "change is coming
" and "yes we can" marketing like your local hustler, pastor or salesman.
He just played the game and system and at the end of it is no different from any other white American president, treat him as such. He is half-white after all.

Black aside, most presidents that are reelected spend a chunk of their second term catering to their base. 95% of black people who voted in 2008 and 2012 casted their vote for their "brother". However, as always, black people are marginalized and taken for granted. We are a disproportionate part of his base yet we haven't had much aimed squarely at us. We only benefit from blanket policies that will end up actually benefiting others more. It seems like Obama is more concerned about his legacy than anything else. He is taking care of the people who will document history (ie the gays and so called Jews). He is young enough to be interested in his post-presidential life, and his libraries, getting wealthy, and roads and other shyt rather than what happens to black in this country. So all the ass kissing of the Jews and gays really dont shock me. His agenda is self preservation.
