Oblivion > Elysium

I know both are different, but when it comes to 2013 sci-fi joints I give it to Oblivion. I just saw it last night and Better story, better character interaction, better visuals.

I had no intention of watching it, but after I saw Elysium it got me in the mood.

I don't agree. even though I'm not one of those fakkits on the board that hated on Oblivion bc that was a damn good movie, Elysium was better.

I don't understand the hate for Oblivion. I bet you guys expected mindless action and explosions.

Oblivion was ok but for me was too similar to Moon which i loved, however it was still better than that fukking mess Elysium.

to me it went After Earth>Oblivion>Elysium

and thats crazy cause i was looking forward to Elysium the most cause i loved District 9, and i was not looking forward to After Earth cause Shyamalan.

I haven't seen AE, but my friend pretty much told me the entire story. It doesn't sound all that good; plus the reviews it got are

yeah AE wasn't great but it was good. the best out of the three though. but i have a son too so i could feel alot of what the movie was doing so that might have influenced how i felt about it.

but yeah check out Moon, that really is great movie.

Do it. Really good movie. Visually it isn't on par with the films mentioned in this thread but as far as acting and story, it's in a separate lane.

Movie was wack breh, probably the most derivative film I've seen this year, Moon and Wall-E did it better and weren't a jumbled mess and didn't manage to be painfully boring and put you to sleep in the process. Movie was .

Agree. After watching Elysium I couldn't help but feel a little disappointed. Haven't seen After Earth but do agree that Moon is a must watch and probably better than all 3.
